Julie Goodrich Gregory, 43, of Litchfield Park died Feb. 5, 2014, in Litchfield Park.

Ms. Gregory was born May 17, 1970, in San Pedro, Calif., to JoAnn and Steve Goodrich.

She worked as a hospice nurse.

She is survived by three daughters, Natalie, Desirae and Abby Gregory; one son, Ryan Gregory; one sister, Christine Dew; and her parents, Steve and JoAnn Goodrich.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear. A reception will follow.

Memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice.

Richard HoakRichard Stevens Hoak

Richard Stevens Hoak, 97, of Sioux City, Iowa, and formerly of Litchfield Park died Feb. 1, 2014, in Sioux City.

Mr. Hoak was born Jan. 26, 1917, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Irma Stevens Hoak and Percy Hoak.

He spent summers in Litchfield Park with his daughter since 1996.

He worked as an Oldsmobile and Cadillac dealer for 65 years.

He was a member of the Sioux City Country Club, Wigwam Country Club and The Church at Litchfield Park.

He was the president of the S.C. Country Club in 1960 and was the club’s golf champion for six years.

He promoted amateur golf tournaments in Iowa.

He was on the board of St. Joseph’s Hospital, the Trans-Mississippi Golf Association and the Toy Bank in Sioux City.

He was the founder of the Iowa Golf Association.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Asher Hoak.

He is survived by one son, Rick Hoak of Sioux City, Iowa; three daughters, Susan Wood of Punta Gorda, Fla., Becky Hood of St. Louis and Cindy Hoak of Litchfield Park; two brothers, Jim Hoak of North Palm Beach, Fla., and Tom Hoak of Del Ray Beach, Fla.; one sister, Virginia Beal of Omaha, Neb.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held in the spring in Sioux City, Iowa.

Margo KnightS. Margo Knight

S. Margo Knight, 51, of Avondale died Feb. 2, 2014, at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Mrs. Knight was born Feb. 17, 1962, in Pembroke, Ontario, Canada.

She moved to Arizona in 1991.

She is survived by her husband, Ken J. Knight; one daughter, Dani L. Knight of Flagstaff; one son, Corey J. Knight; her parents, Hep and Jean Lehman of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; and two brothers, Shawn Lehman and Jason Lehman, both of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at The Church of Litchfield Park, 300 N. Old Litchfield Road, Litchfield Park.

The Rev. Jim Butler will officiate.

Memorials may be sent to the Margo Knight Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo location.

Reyes MontanoReyes B. ‘Tilingo’ Montaño

Reyes B. “Tilingo” Montaño, 67, of Tolleson died Feb. 6, 2014, in Sun City West.

Mr. Montaño was born April 20, 1946, in Tolleson to Dionicio and Maria Montaño.

He was preceded in death by one son, Reyes Montaño II, and one granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Eva Montaño; two sons, Raymond and Rene Montaño; three sisters, Beatriz Garcia, Rosalie Orona and Mary Montaño; and one grandchild.

A visitation will be held at 9 a.m. with a rosary recited at 10 a.m. and a Mass celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Tolleson.

Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Avondale.

Roberto MendozaRoberto Padilla Mendoza

Roberto Padilla Mendoza, 76, of Buckeye died Jan. 18, 2014, at his home.

Mr. Mendoza was born May 4, 1937, in Nogales.

He lived in Buckeye for 44 years and worked as a foreman in construction, handyman and rancher.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Esther Galindo; three sons, Robert Jr., Andrew and Daniel; three daughters, Catherine, Rebecca and Maria Antoinette; three sisters, Nena, Francis and Olga; three brothers, Pete, Guillermo and Hector; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 8.

Burial was at Sunwest Cemetery, 12525 NW Grand Ave., El Mirage.

Keith RumpleKeith Alexander Rumple

Keith Alexander Rumple, 47, of Avondale died Jan. 23, 2014, at West Valley Hospital in Goodyear.

Mr. Rumple was born Dec. 6, 1966, in Petersburg, Va.

He was a field supervisor for Averus.

He is survived by his parents, Carole Taylor and Alfred Rumple; one son, Derrick A. Rumple; and three brothers, Carl Rumple, Eric Rumple and Keven Rumple.

Services were private.
