Police have arrested a 27-year-old Buckeye man suspected of robbing a cab driver at knifepoint March 17, officials said.
Matthew Mangrum allegedly took a cab ride March 17 from Phoenix to an apartment complex near Monroe Avenue and 10th Street in Buckeye, Buckeye police said.
Once dropped off at his apartment, Mangrum allegedly robbed the cab driver and stabbed him in his arm, police said.
Mangrum then allegedly fled on foot and was found at a nearby residence, where he was arrested.
He is charged with one felony count of aggravated assault and one felony count of armed robbery.
His preliminary conference is scheduled for today.
