The West Valley is constantly growing, and restaurants, businesses and homemakers are choosing to flock here to continue to open their doors to the thousands of people that call it home. This week, the Business Briefcase is breaking down a pair of businesses that recently announced new locations at the Goodyear Civic Square at GSQ.

Miyu Nails and Spa

Location: northwest corner of 150th Drive and Goodyear Way, Goodyear

Miyu Nails and Spa will open a second location in the retail liner space at GSQ north of The Stillery and west of F45.

The spa currently has a location in Litchfield Park and offers manicures, pedicures, specialty acrylics and esthetic services.

Miyu’s mission, according to its website, is to provide its clients confidence and satisfaction through quality services and products, as well as bring the latest styles ideas by keeping up with current trends.

On top of its in-store services, the spa offers training courses to those who are interested in learning more about the industry. Courses are one to two days, and everything needed for the course is included.

F45 Training

Location: northwest corner of 150th Drive and Goodyear Way, Goodyear

F45 Training, a fitness studio, is opening a second location in Goodyear at GSQ. Ownership for the new location is different from the other Goodyear location on Estrella Parkway.

F45 specializes in innovative, high-intensity group workouts that are fast, fun, and results driven. More than 5,000 exercises and 45 different workout classes are boasted by the studio.

The “F” in the name stands for “functional training,” a mix of circuit and HIIT-style workouts geared toward everyday movement. The “45” is the total amount of time in minutes for the sweat-dripping, heart-pumping workouts.

Throughout 2023, F45 is pushing its F45 Challenge, a nutrition and training-based program that is focused on holistic well-being. The combination of training and the challenge’s meal plan is designed to “transform” the lives of its participants.
