Dane Barthule of Avondale has completed the doctor of pharmacy degree at the College of Pharmacy-Glendale (CPG) of Midwestern University. He graduated from Desert Edge High School in 2006, and earned a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University - West Campus in 2012, and a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Midwestern University. While at Midwestern, he served as the chaplain of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity. 

He participated in several community service projects such as Feed My Starving Children, Habitat for Humanity and Midwestern’s H.O.M.E. program, providing medical services to the homeless. He plans to work for Fry’s Food and Drug as a staff pharmacist and become involved in diabetic education and immunization administration.

Bismarck State College announced  Adrian Slabinski of Litchfield Park and Timothy Light of Waddell made the president’s honor roll for the spring semester. Both had 4.0 grade point averages.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison announced Danielle Lennon of Litchfield Park made the dean’s list.

Michaela Daniels and Ashton Hooley, both of Goodyear, made the University of Iowa president’s list.

Jake Schotter of Goodyear made the Freed-Hardeman (Henderson, Tennessee) dean’s list for the spring semester.

Nia Duplain, of Buckeye graduated with a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from Colorado College.

Elle Freitas of Buckeye made the Southeast Missouri State University spring dean’s list.

Andrew Maxson of Tolleson was named to Graceland University’s 2020 spring honors list.
