I’m Debbie Lesko and I’m running for Congress for the same reason I served in the state senate and house for the last nine years – to make a difference.
I am honored to have the endorsement of former Gov. Jan Brewer and many local leaders including Goodyear Mayor Georgia Lord, Litchfield Park Mayor Tom Schoaf and Goodyear Vice Mayor Wally Campbell. I’ve also been endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police, a national prolife organization, and Congressmen Mark Meadows and Jim Jordan, who are the founding members of the conservative U.S. House Freedom Caucus of which Trent Franks was a member. These people know that I have a proven track record of working for my constituents, fighting for the values that have made our nation great and getting things done.
I am pro-Trump, pro-life and pro-gun rights. I voted for President Trump at the Republican National Convention as an elected delegate and I campaigned for him. I will support Trump’s agenda to secure the border, strengthen the military, lower taxes and regulations, and Make America Great Again!
During my nine years in the state senate and house, I earned a reputation for taking on big, important issues and getting them done. I sponsored and passed historic pension reform, tax reform and education reform. Because of my hard work I was named Senator of the Year, Champion of the Taxpayer, Friend of the Family and received an A rating from the NRA.
When I heard U.S. Rep. Trent Franks resigned in December, I decided the voters of Congressional District 8 still needed a solid conservative voice to advocate for a secure border, a strong military that protects Luke Air Force Base and strong family values.
Debbie Lesko of Glendale is a Republican candidate for Congress, CD8.
